Matchmaking Update (New Rules)

Today’s update Valve finally focuses on improving the matchmaking experience. Quality matchmaking is a core component of an enjoyable Dota session, and today’s changes work to address several issues that can affect the player experience when queuing for a game. Finally it is happening. Also let me know how you guys feel about the changes. Here are the changes summarised: LINKED PHONE NUMBER Right now everyone needs to add a phone number to play MMR games. SOLO MMR QUEUE When playing solo MMR you can choose between 10 solo player, or normal solo. But i can't seem to find that function anywhere yet =.= PARTY MMR CHANGES New Party MMR system will calculate and take the average of your solo and party MMR. eg: solo 4000, party 2000 = new system 3000 mmr MATCHMAKING BEHAVIOR LP games now have time ban + games ban. (up to 4 days) Improved intentional feeding detection. Improved botting detection. Permanent ban. REGIONAL CHANGES Ranked Matchmaking will no longer be available in these 3 countries -South Africa -India -Dubai
